Questions, answered

Before you sell your watch.

How quickly will I receive an offer?

We respond to complete submissions within 24 hours. Clear photos help us evaluate the watch without unnecessary back-and-forth.

Is the online offer final?

No. The initial amount is preliminary. The final purchase amount is confirmed after inspection, authentication, ownership verification and review of included accessories.

Do you buy watches without a box or papers?

Yes, selected watches can still be purchased without the original box or papers. Completeness affects value, but it is one factor among reference, originality, condition and demand.

Should I service or polish the watch first?

Usually not. Service may not return its cost, and polishing can reduce the appeal of a collectible watch. Submit it in its current condition.

Which brands do you buy?

Our primary focus is Rolex, Omega and Tudor. We also consider Cartier, Breitling, Grand Seiko, IWC, Panerai, TAG Heuer and other established Swiss watches.

Do I have to meet someone in person?

No. Inside Orange County we can send a private buyer to you, who authenticates the watch in front of you and pays on the spot. If you would rather not host an appointment, or you are outside Orange County, we send a prepaid fully insured shipping label instead and complete the authentication at our end.

What happens if I ship the watch to you?

The parcel is filmed as it is opened, then the watch is authenticated by our watchmaker — movement, case, dial, bracelet and papers. We confirm the final amount against that authentication and you approve it before any payment is released. Payment normally goes out by wire the same business day you approve.

What if I change my mind after shipping it?

You are under no obligation to sell. If you decline the final amount, the watch is returned to you fully insured at our cost, in the same condition it arrived.

Who pays for shipping and insurance?

We do, in both directions. The label we send is prepaid and insured for the amount we have agreed, with signature confirmation required. If you decline the final amount, return shipping is insured for the same value and paid by us.

Can I be paid in cash or by wire?

Subject to the transaction and verification requirements, approved purchases may be paid by cash or wire. Cash is available at an Orange County appointment; shipped watches are paid by wire.

What identification will I need?

Bring current government-issued identification and proof that you own or are authorized to sell the watch. Additional documentation may be required.

Will my watch be listed publicly?

No. A quote request is a private evaluation, not a public marketplace listing.
